Tragedy as gran killed while helping children into car in Christmas Eve 'hit and run'



Pastor, activist and grandmother Trina Newman-Townsend was killed in a hit and run on Christmas Eve after giving away toys at a community centre, police say. The 62-year-old was preparing to enter her own car, which had four of her children inside, when she was hit.
