Typhoon Trami latest: Crisis AVOIDED as Okinawa election completes despite storm's threat



A SUCCESSFUL gubernatorial election was held on Okinawa island on Sunday despite the destruction caused by Typhoon Trami threatening to derail it as the storm hurtled across Japan over the weekend.
